About me

Anastasia Hronis is a clinical psychologist, concert pianist, and performance coach. She combines her passion, knowledge and experience in both the psychology and music fields, to work with musicians, dancers and actors to help them improve and enhance their performances. Anastasia provides individual consultations, and also runs workshops for various performing arts organisations. She helps performers by addressing issues such as building resilience, managing stress and uncertainty, strategies to enhance performances, dealing with receiving feedback and criticism, and helping overcome and manage performance anxiety.Anastasia completed a Bachelor of Psychology with First Class Honours at the University of Sydney and a Master of Clinical Psychology degree at the University of Technology Sydney. She is currently completing her PhD in the area of mental health treatments for children with intellectual disabilities.As a concert pianist, she has performed as a soloist at the Sydney Opera House seven times, with her first appearance at the age of four. Since then she has gone on to win over 60 first place prizes in numerous competitions, and perform at various recitals. She has been awarded her Associate Diploma in Music (AMusA) and Licentiate Diploma in Music (LMusA) in piano.
