Hi everyone! Keith I believe we might consider this change of direction – more like clarification, than a dumbing down of the original concept . As I understand it, the general public just don’t seem to be ready for such complex, confronting issues. Although a hugely, interesting concept; in-depth, analytical questioning on the ‘whys’ of the world – the general public does not ask easily. To clarify such content enables them to enjoy, partake and experience the moment projected to them.

You would agree – an audience’s task is above all, to be left with a feeling of vulnerability. In that, their emotions and beliefs have been politely tampered with – exposed to a climax if you will, to some degree, form or another. I do not believe, we as inventors of thought and content, should be giving them the task of vacantly asking, “What was that about?” – the Movie is forgot, judged as irrelevant and a waste of time.

If a concept can be presented in such a way, so as to allow scope for a culture to explore, question and invent content that is acceptable to their society, customs, beliefs and political sway within that society, then cultures are not offended or intimidated by the presented concept; it is not outside their realm of understanding.
