Humanity sets for itself many goals, many are arbitrary, yet here we are, abandoning earthly pleasures and desires for material things. We have a new want now, that drives us even harder than a new car or a beautiful dress. Our only goal now, is survival any way that we can. Sadly, we will fail if this is our only goal, because it is unavoidable that we all die in the end.
